System Requirements
DBeaver is tested and verified for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
Supported versions:
- Microsoft Windows 10 or later versions
- Windows Server 2016 or later versions
- macOS 11 or later versions
Install
Windows installer – run installer executable. It will automatically upgrade version (if needed). Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012 and earlier are not supported.
MacOS DMG – just run it and drag-n-drop dbvr Community into Applications. MacOS 10 and earlier are not supported.
Debian package – run sudo dpkg -i dbvr-ce-<version>.deb. Then execute dbvr &.
RPM package – run sudo rpm -ivh dbvr-ce-<version>.rpm. Then execute dbvr &.
ZIP archive – extract the archive and run dbvr executable. Do not extract the archive over the previous version (remove the previous version before installing).
Upgrade – do not be afraid to remove the previous dbvr Community version. Your settings will not be lost.
Java notes: dbvr Community requires Java 21 or higher. Since version 23.0, all distributions include the OpenJDK 21 bundle. If you want to use your own locally installed Java, you may delete the folder jre in the DBeaver installation folder.
