Importing DBVisualizer connections ERROR

Postby yvangg » Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:56 am

Hi!

When i try to import my DBVisualizer connections i get the next error:

"Can't parse URL 'jdbc:db2://10.1.13.23:5000/database' with pattern 'jdbc:db2://{host}[:{port}]/{database}'. String '[:{port}]' not found after '{host}'"

Maybe it happens because i am usgin ip addresses instead the hostname??

Hi!

Unfortunatelly configuration import wasn't well tested, moreover it was tested only for some certain old version (7.x) of DBVisualizer - it is not very popular feature as far as I can see by users response )
Things was changed and now they have a little bit different configuration format. Another problem is URL parsing, it is a quite tricky thing.

Anyway, we'll improve DBVis and SQuirrel integration in next major version.

Thanks for report!
