"Load tables" before some queries

Good afternoon,

Before performing some queries (not all queries display this behavior) DBeaver performs the "Load tables" operation. In a DB with 1000+ tables this takes about 10 seconds, which is a lot to wait before performing a simple 100ms query.
Is there any way to disable this? I've already searched on DBeaver and Driver setting and found nothing.

Some technical details:
SGBD: DB2 on a AS400 system
Driver: JT400

Hi,

So I was able to further identify this is part of the "Discover resultset metadata" process. I've tried several configuration changes on DBeaver and driver settings that relate to metadata, but to no avail.
I've also found another thread with a similar issue, but also without responses ()...

Could someone please shed some light on this issue? Thank you!
