Tab management needs shortcuts for faster closing tabs (after drill-down from scheme to separate tabs, etc)
This shortcut shoult be unified with most tab-based software, such as Firefox.
So CTRL-W → good shortcut for this.

Standard shortcut for tab closing is CTRL+F4.
BTW you can see available shortcuts in Preferences.
