At the moment there is no "Write to image" feature in ERD editor. We planning to add it in next version.

For now you may try to use one of "Print to file" products, for example Free PDF Printer () - it allows to print to PDF, PNG, JPG and other formats. After you install this progam you may just print diagram using appropriate printer (there is "Print" button in right lower corner of diagram).

Just use the [PrtScr] button and past the image in a graphic viewer (I use IrfanView).
Then, crop the image to the image desired.
Annotate the image in an image editor.
I use the method for reporting bugs in programs.

BTW you may check EA version ( ) - it contains "Save to image" feature.

"Save to image" feature is great. But I found a bug.
GIF image can't be saved. GIF format extension is *.png.
