OData suppport

Postby nomadhermit » Wed May 01, 2013 11:47 pm

Hi, great tool. Love the recent MS Access support!! Works great so far on my Ubuntu desktop :-)

Any plans for OData support?

There is a java library in development called odata4j https://code.google.com/p/odata4j/

It would be useful for connecting to remote sources like a MS Sharepoint 2010 or higher which supports exposing Lists as OData service.

Detail of protocol can found here:

Sample/Demo Odata service:

I'd wish to include a driver for Odata but apparently at the moment there are no free JDBC drivers for it.
However there are a couple of commercial ones (you can google them and use trial version to check how it works).

As soon as free version of odata JDBC driver will appear I'll include it in standard DBeaver configuration.
