Background color setup by connection

Hi,

A problem that always occurs when working in a dev/test/production DBs is that one can sometime execute scripts on the wrong connection (which can be very bad if you do not know you run on you production DB). The problem in the current UI, is that the current connection is in a small drop box, displaying only the beginning of the connection name.

A thought I had was the allow setting up different color schemes for different connections. The will allow, for example, to set up the production connection with a red background. This would most definitely prevent these kinds of mistakes.

It can be great if you could implement such a feature.

Yes, it makes sense. Making ui difference between dev/prod databases is important thing.
Do you mean only SQL editor background? Generally there are plenty different editors, including table data editor. It'd be good to mark them somehow too..

You're right Serge,
but I think the SQL editor is the most important one (it takes most of my screen, and it holds the commands to the DB). The other editors coloring are nice-to-have only.

I think that I'll make DB selector combo background color depend on connections type. And editor border color. Changing entire editor background might be not so good-looking.
I believe this feature will be included in the next version.
