I'd like to be able to completely hide the query results window using a keyboard shortcut:
When writing lengthy SQLs, the query results window limits the vertical space that's available for the editor window, thus making the user scroll more.

A "hide results window" with a key binding would enable the user to quickly show / hide the results window.

I hate to bump up such an old post and not provide an answer but I am looking for the same functionality. Does this exist in the application?

Well, it makes sense.
I'll add this feature in one of nearest versions.

Press F6 (toggle results panel).
