Please start showing trigger details for tables

Postby satyakishorm » Fri Feb 27, 2015 8:10 pm

Hello

Thanks for the hard work that you put on this tool. I think it would be really helpful to start showing trigger details for tables in Dbeaver tool. Currently it doesn't display anything related to trigger. If I need trigger details, I have to use some other tool which is a pain. Hope you incorporate this feature in the future releases

Thanks

What database do you use?

DBeaver shows triggers for MySQL, Oracle and DB2.
To support all database-specific objects (which are beyond of JDBC API) I have to write special extension plugin for a particular database.
Unfortunately I don't have much resources for it right now. But in future we plan to add support of as many of them as possible.

I use DB2 database but I don't see trigger details. Is there any option I should set?

Just find the trigger in navigator tree and open it (see screenshot)
Note: it works only with DB2 LUW driver. DB2 zOS and DB2 iSeries drivers doesn't support any database-specific metadata.

Thanks for the update. I can see the triggers now after using LUW driver.
