editing data in query result

Postby pljuska » Sun Aug 31, 2014 10:33 pm

Only one featutre needs to be done before DBeawer become the best, IDE oriented DB manager/tool.
Editing of data in Query result mode
Yes, now it is possible only for MySQL, but with other tools
http://razorsql.com/
or
INtelliJ DB Tools
is possible with all databases types (Oracle, SQLServer), and yes, just over simple JDBC.

Thanks,
Marko

Hello,

this feature (edit of query results) is in TODO with high priority. We plan to add it in one of nearest versions.

Thanks

This is an amazing feature! Marko, what happens with other tools when a column is not editable? (i.e. is produced by a function)

Hi,

in 3.0.2 release notes:
"Custom queries results are now editable"

Please can you add some example, or what I should set/do to enable this functionality,
because in my case this feature does not work.
For example I cannot edit result set of
select * from table
query.
MS SQL SERVER

Thanks.

Also,
when i'm writing a function, the auto formatter put line breaks between the parameters, which ends up generating a waste of lines.
