T-SQL Formatter

Postby odelathouder » Tue Sep 03, 2013 10:19 am

Hi,

Can you please update the T-SQL Formatter?

NotePad++ has a T-SQL Formatter plugin that works perfect: "Poor man's T-SQL Formatter"
Maybe you can incorporate it's logic into DBeaver?

Hello,

It would be great to have so powerful formatter at least for Sybase (and possibly MS SQL). It is really cool because it understands language semantics and makes correct formatting from grammar point of view.
But unfortunately there is no free/open source version of it in Java.
If I will find a Java library which formats SQL better than DBeaver does now - I will replace current one.

Thanks
Serge

Hello,

I browsed the source code but I didn't find the class where automatic formatting is performed.
I would like to know this, in case I decide to contribute to the code.

I would be very interested in having a flexible and configurable formatter.
