MySQL edit datetime field

Postby rocco » Wed May 09, 2012 11:30 am

Hi

Even if I set Dbeaver to use 24h in preferences, then doing an edit on a datetime field, the editor displays 12h AM/PM time. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a configuration issue. This on Linux, Ubuntu Precise.

DBeaver uses OS native controls to edit date/time values. Unfortunatelly there is no way to set custom locale for these controls in Eclipse SWT.
So currently the only way is to change OS locale settings.
I hope that SWT will support custom locales for date/time controls but it may take a years while they'll do it :(
So, probably we should use some custom date/time editor instead of native one. Hmm. I has to meditate about this issue :)

Thanks for the report!
