SSH Tunnel

The SSH connection settings may not entirely be clear, so I want to explain them a bit more.

Suppose you want to connect to a (non-public) server database.example.com through a public (hop) server public.example.com.

In the first (connection settings) tab you enter the settings as if you are already inside the foreign network, in this case database.example.com, with the database server's port number and the (database) credentials to log into the database server.

In the network tab, you enter server and the SSH credentials to connect to the public (hop) server, in this case public.example.com.

The only thing you do not enter is the port number on your local machine; it is picked by DBeaver itself.
