Cannot edit an existing object in Database navigator

Hi,

following the "sys as sysdba" problem (see: ), ?ive been trying to edit all the connections with sys user to sys as sysdba.

If I do right-click on a connection, edit object, and then edit username (but this is true for all items, too), I cannot niether save the modified object, nor to test connection, since both test connection and Finish buttons are greyed out.

"Finish" and "Test Connection" buttons are disabled for OCI driver if Oracle Home value is not set.
It may happen if you made some changes in your Oracle installation since you run DBeaver last time.
Just set new value for Oracle Home manually.
